Perhaps the largest litter of Bernese in the UK 2020
Keen Dog On Tour fans have been following Maggie and Oscar’s progress as they cycle their way around the coastline of Great Britain.
Currently in St Andrews, headed for Dundee, the intrepid duo are on course, raising money for charities which have touched Maggie’s life: LLR (Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) and SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths).
It’s been thirty-four days since a fantastic crowd bid Maggie and Oscar a fond farewell as they left the Wentworth Hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk on Saturday 14 March for their journey of a lifetime – cycling 5,000 miles on a bike and pulling a chariot complete with Oscar! It was awful weather when the pair left Suffolk, with an icy north east wind blasting them head on as they cycled off. Well wishers had lined the street waving union flags and cheering at the top of their voices. Since then the weather has been kinder, and Maggie has posted numerous photos of Oscar enjoying the sunshine on their travels!
Salters are proud to support Dog on Tour, providing Oscar with Salters Pet Nutrition Dog Food for the entire trip, sending off food parcels, 4kgs at a time, to arrive by courier en route. With the help of a special collar from Retrieva Ltd Oscar’s journey is also being tracked!
Everyone at Salters wishes Maggie and Oscar the best of luck for the remainder of their journey! For more pictures please visit Maggie’s Facebook page: Dog On Tour
