Perhaps the largest litter of Bernese in the UK 2020
Well, after eight weeks all but Bessy Boots have gone off to their forever homes. Each family seemed to pick the perfect pup for them, well actually, the pups seemed to pick the perfect family!! I have had updates and pictures of them and am assured that they are all settling in well.
Bessy Boots is bonding well with mum, Ruby; even better than we had hoped, with lots of chasing, tug of war and of course lots of snugly cuddles.
It has been a wonderful experience for us to have been there all the way through for Ruby. Firstly being there at the birth of all six pups. Helping her settle into motherhood on that first night. Making sure that she ate plenty of Salters Puppy Food to keep her energy levels up to feed the little ones, then introducing the pups to softened Salters Puppy Food (but at 2/3 weeks they were eating it dry and loving it). The joy that all of them have brought to us as a family has been priceless and as you can imagine we have had lots of visitors all wanting to go all gooey over the pups, and Ruby for being such a clever girl.
