Salters have high protein in our Puppy food at 27.8% and Energy at 29% this % is essential for the correct growth of puppies and the time to change to adult food depends on the breed, please contact us to discuss your individual dog’s needs.
Energy food is designed to give great muscle support in dogs with heavy muscling or high stamina demands and fast recovery demands, especially our champion whippet!
Our Adult Maintenance food protein level at 23%, perfectly balanced for total adulthood and normal demands but also for the latter stages of junior growth which is much slower than their previous puppy growth.
The Senior foods are much lower at 17% which is ideal for our senior citizens and also for those dogs wanting to lose some weight, so we use the Senior as a short term light food diet.
